This notice explains how Elva collects and uses personal data through investors.elvalabs.co. It applies only to this investor site, separately from the privacy notice covering Elva's consumer-facing services.
What we collect
- Screening answers: investor type, investment timeline, jurisdiction, intended value-add, accreditation self-certification, and intended cheque size.
- Contact details you provide: name, email, phone number, firm/organisation, and any message.
- Basic technical data (such as browser type and page views) needed to operate the site.
Why we collect it
We use this information to assess whether we can lawfully share investment information with you, to respond to your enquiry, and to keep a record of investor conversations. We do not use it for advertising or marketing, and we do not sell it.
Legal basis
We process this data on the basis of our legitimate interest in evaluating and responding to investment enquiries, and, where you submit a contact form, on the basis that processing is necessary to take steps at your request prior to a possible investment.
Who sees it
Submissions are stored in our internal systems and emailed directly to the Elva team handling this raise. They are not shared with third parties except our infrastructure providers (hosting, database, and email delivery), each acting under a data processing agreement, and except where required by law.
How long we keep it
We retain investor enquiry data for as long as reasonably needed to run this fundraising round and to maintain a record of the relationship, after which it is deleted or anonymised unless you ask us to remove it sooner.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, at any time by emailing help@elvalabs.co. If you are in the UK or EU, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
